How we're paid
Our advisors are compensated by insurance carriers through commissions when a policy is
issued. Advice is free to you. Commission rates can differ between carriers and products;
we are happy to disclose how we are compensated on any plan we recommend.
What we are — and aren't
- SmartHealthMatch is a consumer brand operated by Smart Health Match LLC. Advisory services are provided directly by licensed health insurance advisors. We are not an insurance carrier.
- Unlike lead-marketplace and quote-aggregator websites, we do not sell, resell, or auction your information. Your details go to the single licensed advisor matched to your state.
- We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the federal Medicare program, or the Health Insurance Marketplace. Marketplace plans are also available at HealthCare.gov.
- We do not provide medical, legal, or tax advice.
- Underwritten private plans require carrier approval, are not guaranteed issue, and may exclude or limit coverage for pre-existing conditions. Plan availability and benefits vary by state.
- Savings are not guaranteed. Whether a private plan costs less than your current coverage depends on your household's circumstances, and any premium figures discussed are set solely by the carrier.
Communication & consent
- We contact you only after you give express written consent, and only through the channels you chose.
- You may revoke consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, click unsubscribe in any email, or simply tell us on a call. We honor federal and state Do-Not-Call rules and maintain an internal suppression list.
- Where calls are recorded for quality and compliance, you will be told at the start of the call.
Your data
We collect only the information needed to advise you, retain consent records as required by
law, never sell your personal information, and honor deletion requests. See the full
privacy policy.
